Busy day, I have looked at 3 places in Port Sorell, none of them particularly impressive. I’m going across on Frankford Rd to Exeter, then down to Grindelwald to see the place with all the rocks and the big hill that we have been looking at on the internet for a few weeks.
This place was a huge disappointment, the house is a lot smaller inside than it looked, and it is very close to the West Tamar Hwy, and very noisy. The estate agent says that they have a couple of places over in Legana that might suit us.
Both of these are around 3 acres/1.2 hectares. The first is less expensive, but the house has an odd layout with a tiny kitchen. No sheds or garages, just a couple of home made shade houses where they grew orchids.
The second place is pretty nice, 5 bedrooms, nice new kitchen with pantry, a huge shed big enough for a RV, and an annex. I could only view this one in the evening, so I want to come back during the daytime for another look.
