We picked Chocco and Latte up today!
We went down and stayed at the Wrest Point for one night, since Eva had missed out during the settlement debacle, and planned to catch up with John and Larraine. Unfortunately they couldn’t make it on a week night so we just had something to eat on our own and messed about in the casino for a bit. I’d like to say we won big, but we didn’t lose anything either.
​Breakfast in the revolving restaurant. They have a lot of smoke from the bushfires down here, but nothing like we are getting up north. We have had about a week of heavy smoke coming across from the mainland, you could hardly breathe outside. There are actually a couple of fires here in Tasmania but not on the scale of Victoria and NSW.

Next, off to do a bit of shopping in Hobart, then out to Brighton to pick up the babies. They are safely home now, and seem to like the new accommodation. We are keeping them in the living room for now since it had plenty of room and the sliding door.
