We have had the NBN (National Broadband Network) crew around this last week digging the trench and laying in the conduit for the fibre to the premises connection. They have their little box on the wall and fibre pulled in all the way from the pit in further down the road, in front of the place we looked at before we decided on this one back in October 2019. The NBN technicians have to join the fibre cable somehow and then the guy from the phone company comes next week to do the work at the house. It is supposed to work with the phone company modem we have had for 6 years, but we will be getting an upgraded version from them around April 4 anyway.

We had a couple of days of wild and windy weather, I have been out the last couple of days picking up some of the bark and twigs that have blown down off the trees. Anything that’s left now I will just leave till I go over it with the mower next time. The only real damage was one of the nice Mount Morgan wattle trees we were growing. It used to have three main branches, now there are only two. I took some cuttings and am trying to grow them just to see if it works.
