Today is what the movers call uplift, loading up the container(s) at our end. They have estimated one full 20′ container and maybe about a quarter of another. They usually consolidate that with other shipments till they fill it, so it may be delivered later. The garage stuff and all my tools will go in the overflow since we can probably live without it for a while. We are still hoping Westpac down there has found the missing title, but we went ahead and got a P.O. box and did all our mail redirection to it.
We are packing enough in the station wagon so that if there is any delay, at least we have an airbed, coffee maker, heater, computers, etc. just the essentials.
Chess moving in Launceston uses another company, Dawsons, to do the uplift over here in Melbourne, and they arrive promptly about 8:30 AM, and are completely done by about 12:30 PM.
We are going out to lunch now, may check to see if Zoey is at the gym later. We have enough points for 2 Anytime Fitness hoodies which should come in handy for the winter, a couple of tee-shirts, and maybe another towel. Will leave them a pre-paid satchel addressed to our P.O. box just in case.
