Now that the brush pile rehabilitation project is sort of finished, I decided to tackle the dead tree that was at the side of the dead stumps. I managed to bring it down fairly neatly between the other trees and start taking all the broken dead branches up to the fire pit hole near the fence to burn off.
Next step, carefully cut into rounds, making sure you pose for at least one photo.
We don’t actually have a fire place or wood burner, but I now have a decent stack of dry firewood in the shed. You can’t be a proper land owner here in Tasmania without having firewood for the winter. Maybe I will find a use for it later. The branches did make a nice fire and we cooked a batch of baked potatoes which should last a few days, yum.
